Coinciding with the limited edition vinyl release of Seize The Day, we're running a special competition for Damo fans...
2023 marks the 20th anniversary of Damien Dempsey's beloved album Seize The Day – which he's marking with the release of the LP on vinyl for the very first time. To celebrate, we're offering you the chance to win a pair of tickets to the iconic Dublin singer-songwriter's upcoming Iveagh Gardens gig, on July 7.
The limited edition pressing on 180g opaque gold vinyl will be in stores from April 7 – and those who pre-order can get their hands on a signed lyric card, while stocks last.

On its original release in 2003, Seize The Day – featuring fan favourites like 'It's All Good', 'Negative Vibes', 'Factories' and 'Apple Of My Eye' – was hailed by Hot Press as "a modern Irish classic" and "a wonderful record."

The album marked the beginning of Damien's musical partnership with producer John Reynolds, and featured the likes of Sinéad O’Connor and Brian Eno.
As part of Hot Press' Up Close and Personal series – released on YouTube last year – Damien revisited the album in an intimate show, filmed at The Grand Social in Dublin. As well as listening to and discussing treasured tracks form the project, the singer-songwriter also performed special acoustic versions of a selection of songs.
