Holly Johnson & His Band are playing the National Stadium in Dublin on September 13 – and to celebrate we're giving you the chance to win a pair of tickets...
Holly Johnson first came to prominence as the charismatic frontman of '80s synth-pop pioneers Frankie Goes To Hollywood, who created such era-defining hits as 'Relax', 'Two Tribes' and 'The Power Of Love'. These international smashes were included on the album Welcome To The Pleasuredome, widely acknowledged as one of the landmark LPs of the decade.
Frankie were among the '80s premier pop provocateurs, with their memorable videos and live appearances also becoming cultural talking points. In addition to fronting Frankie, Liverpool icon Johnson has also enjoyed considerable acclaim as a solo artist, thanks to albums such as the 1989 UK number one Blast, Dreams That Money Can't Buy and Soulstream.
With a formidable canon of pop anthems to call upon, Johnson remains a brilliantly electrifying live performer.
