The NI Music Prize 2022 takes place next week, on Wednesday, November 16, in Belfast's iconic Ulster Hall – and to celebrate, Tourism NI are giving away a special prize! One lucky winner will win a pair of tickets to the prize ceremony, featuring a special performance from Horslips, as well as an overnight stay in the four-star Ten Square Hotel.

The NI Music Prize celebrates the very best music from Northern Ireland over the past 12 months, with performances from shortlisted artists. This year, the annual Oh Yeah Legend Award goes to Barry Devlin, the frontman of legendary Celtic rock band, Horslips. To mark the occasion, Barry will be joined on stage by Horslips friends Jim Lockhart, Ray Fean and Fiach Moriarty for four of the band’s best-known songs.

Belfast was awarded UNESCO's City of Music status, in honour of the city's rich musical heritage, and in recognition of the importance of music for Belfast's future. It's the first city on the island of Ireland to receive this status.
