The competition winner must be able to pick up the tickets from Hot Press HQ on Capel Street before the gig.
Indie heroes The Kooks are moving in their own way down to Fairview Park tomorrow night, and Hot Press have a pair of tickets to give to one lucky fan.
The band recently celebrated the 15th anniversary of their debut album, Inside In/Inside Out, with a tour playing the coveted record top to bottom and some other hits thrown in, too. The 2006 project record acts as a time capsule of that time for many, in all its post-punk and Britpop glory.
Frontman Luke Pritchard said in a statement announcing the tour: “We wanted to play all the songs from the album along with some fan favourites spanning our entire career as a thank you to our fans for all the love that’s kept the album alive, growing and finding new ears since we put it out in the noughties.”
Expect hits like 'Always Where I Need to Be', 'Seaside', 'Do You Wanna', 'Junk of the Heart (Happy)' and (of course), 'Naive'.
Fresh from their set with Rick Astley at Glastonbury, indie band Blossoms will be warming up the stage for the lads as well as The Lathums.
