The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced the winners of the 44th International Emmy Awards yesterday, November 21.
The Gala event took place at the New York Hilton and was hosted by the Scottish actor-performer Alan Cumming.
Television professionals from around the world attended the Award where 10 Emmy statues were presented.
German and British productions led the night with 3 Emmys each - in the Best Performance by An Actress, Documentary and Drama Series categories for German programs and Best Performance by An Actor, Comedy and TV Movie/ Mini-Series categories for British programs.

Programs from Brazil (Telenovela), Japan (Arts Programming), Sweden (Non-Scripted Entertainment) and the United States (Non-English Language US Primetime Program), each won one Emmy.
The 10 International Emmy Award Winning programs and performances are: The Man Who Shot Hiroshima (Arts Programming), Dustin Hoffman (Best Performance by an Actor), Christiane Paul (Best Performance by an Actress), Hoff The Record (Comedy), War of Lies (Documentary), Deutschland 83 (Drama Series), Francisco, El Jesuita (Francis, the Jesuit) (Non-English Language US Primetime Program), The Great Swedish Adventure (Non-Scripted Entertainment), Hidden Truths (Telenovela), and Capital (TV Movie/Mini-Series).
