Thursday's show from 49th & Main will follow lauded performances from Malaki and Dea Matrona as part of the LIVE@ALOFT series.
49th & Main's special intimate show as part of the LIVE@ALOFT series is due to take place this Thursday, November 24.
Hailing from Kilkenny, the duo have continued to make major waves internationally – selling out their first headline shows six months in advance, clocking up over 40 million streams, and playing massive sets at Glastonbury, Electric Picnic and more. This month, 49th & Main also sold out their London headline show in a matter of minutes.
Their new track, 'Believe in Love', saw the pair collaborate with visual artist Aaron Fahy on the video, who has worked with Bree Runway, BBC, Lil Nas X and Def Jam. The electro-pop band's previous single ’Never Gonna Stop’ has over a million streams, plus 49th & Main now have one one monthly listeners on Spotify. Clearly, they're ready to hit the ground running in 2023 following their UK & Ireland tour.
"We wrote ‘Believe In Love’ off the back of our latest EP, Must Be Nice," Paddy King says. "We wanted to make something fun with the intention of bringing it to our end of year live headline shows. The aim will be to unite and uplift the crowd, and for fans new and old to celebrate the incredible whirlwind of a year we've had all together."
"As soon as I heard the sample I knew I had to build a track around it," Ben O'Sullivan adds. "Look, it took a good while and the song itself has been through more iterations than a horse has hair but it got there in the end and it turned out pretty great if we do say so ourselves!"

The complimentary ticket only LIVE@ALOFT gigs have seen Malaki and Dea Matrona previously take to the stage in Aloft Dublin City, located in the Liberties.
The gig series, which first kicked off this summer, has celebrated the show-stoppingly brilliant and eclectic array of musical talent that's currently cropping up across Ireland – with '70s-inspired rock and socially-conscious hip-hop having already been platformed at the LIVE@ALOFT events. As new Irish artists continue to make their mark on stages at home and overseas, this series offers a rare opportunity to catch these rising stars in a unique, intimate setting, right in the heart of Dublin.
In December, 49th & Main set off on The Underqualified Tour – which, following a string of UK dates, includes shows at Cyprus Avenue, Cork (December 15); Monroe's, Galway (16); Dolan's Warehouse, Limerick (18); Limelight 2, Belfast (21); and a sold-out show at The Academy, Dublin (23). Limited tickets are still available for some venues.
There's no better time to catch 49th & Main in action than LIVE@ALOFT – before their ever-building momentum sees them perform globally.
