The actor took to Twitter in response to a statement made by Lisa Bloom, who previously acted as a legal representative for several women harassed by Donald Trump, Bill O'Reilly and Bill Cosby.
In her statement, Bloom said,
“As a women’s rights advocate, I have been blunt with Harvey and he has listened to me. I have told him that times have changed, it is 2017, and he needs to evolve to a higher standard. I have found Harvey to be refreshingly candid and receptive to my message. He has acknowledged mistakes he has made. He is reading books and going to therapy. He is an old dinosaur learning new ways. He wants to reach out to any of the women who may have issues with him to talk to them in a respectful, peaceful way, with me present if that is acceptable to them.”

Echoing Weinstein, when he previously attempted to justify his actions by saying that he matured during the 1960s and '70s, Bloom's response was mocked by Horgan who said,
"It's true. Women way less keen on sexual harassment now. Hope the books work Harvey you cuddly old dinosaur."

On a more general note later, Horgan said, "The guilt and shame they are variously feeling makes me want to punch a wall."
Proud of our girl Heather and all the women coming forward. The guilt and shame they are variously feeling makes me want to punch a wall https://t.co/utmWEnbamn
