The frontwoman for The Corrs is set to a release a memoir which will explore her coming to terms with the death of her father.
Broken Pilgrimage, Andrea Corr's new book, will be published in October.
The book has been described as "an exercise in coming to terms with and making sense of life and mortality following the loss of a beloved father".
Harper Collins, who have acquired world rights to the book, said: "Barefoot Pilgrimage is a compelling and honest memoir in part, an exercise in coming to terms with and making sense of life and mortality following the loss of a beloved father; in part, a reflection on an unlikely journey with her siblings through the music industry; in part, a meditation on family, on music, and on creativity; and, in part, a shout-out for love and for hope."
Gerry Corr, who was the father to the band's four members - Andrea, Caroline, Sharon and Jim - passed away at the age of 82 in 2015.
It was at Gerry's funeral mass in Dundalk that The Corrs performed for the first time in a decade, having taken a hiatus in 2005.

Speaking about the release, Andrea said: "I am delighted to be publishing a book with HarperCollins and thank them for believing in me, a novice in this book world, with my memoir Barefoot Pilgrimage."
Eoin McHugh, publishing director of Harper Collins, said: "It’s really wonderful to have the opportunity to publish Andrea’s very special memoir – a labour of love which tells a compelling story about family and music, about loss, and about creativity."
Back in 2005, Hot Press Editor Niall Stokes sat down for an in-depth interview with Andrea Corr about how the music played by her father Gerry and shares by the Corrs family helped the band in the making of their fifth studio album, Home.
