This year's Met Gala theme was Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.
Irish talent from the likes of actors Andrew Scott, Barry Keoghan and Jamie Dornan graced the red carpet last night alongside a slew of Irish talent.
Also joining the ranks of glitterati featured at the iconic Met Gala last night were Irish actresses Evie Hewson and Alison Olivier alongside Cork woman and Glamour Editor Samantha Barry.
Irish designers were also showcased at fashion's biggest event, from Philip Treacy's hats to Simone Rocha's ethereal designs, to Alexander McQueen's Séan McGirr and Loewe's Jonathan Anderson.
Wearing a design fashioned by Donatella Versace, Fleabag star Andrew Scott accompanied the designer on the red carpet along with Jude Law.
Both Jude Law and Andrew Scott are known for starring in adaptations of Patricia Highsmith's novel The Talented Mr Ripley, with Scott playing the titular character in Netflix's recent noir Ripley, while Law played spoilt trust-fundarian Dickie Greenleaf to Matt Damon's Tom Ripley in the 1999 adaptation.
