International pop star Ariana Grande recently revealed she has ditched her filler and botox, and is learning to love her true self.

The actress and singer became emotional when speaking about learning to love herself, in a recent Vogue Beauty Secrets video. The 'Positions' singer had tears in her eyes as she admitted that she used to hide behind filler and botox.

“For a long time, beauty was about hiding for me, and now I feel like maybe it’s not," Grande stated. "Ever since I stopped getting fillers and botox, I know for me, it was just like, ‘Oh, I just want to see my well-earned cry lines and smile lines.’ I hope my smile lines get deeper and deeper and I laugh more and more. Aging can be such a beautiful thing. Now, might I get a facelift in 10 years? Might, yeah! These are just thoughts that I feel like we should be able to discuss when we’re talking about beauty secrets. F— it, let’s lay it all out there.”

The American pop star opened up about her relationship with makeup and how it has changed throughout her career.

The singer added: “Over the years, I used makeup as a disguise or something to hide behind with more and more hair and more thicker the eyeliner — that can be so beautiful at times and I still have love for it. I think as I get older, I don’t love that being the intention behind it anymore. I think of it as self expression and accentuating what is here."

As her makeup brand R.E.M beauty grows, the beauty industry is becoming a very big part of Grande's career. Since she was young it seemed that makeup and music are something that both had a huge impact on her.

Drag Queens were a big part of her makeup journey, as she was often in their company when she was younger. “When I was on Broadway, doing 13, I used to go afterwards to see the queens and sometimes I would end up singing, and it was just a really joyous and important part of my life,” Grande said.
