Aslan announce Irish tour to mark 40th anniversary, including 3Arena Dublin date

Tickets for Aslan’s 40th Anniversary Irish tour go on sale this Monday, 7th February at 9am.

To celebrate their 40th Anniversary, Aslan will perform a massive headline concert at 3Arena on Saturday 17th September.

The rock outfit will play INEC Killarney, Leisureland Galway, Cork Opera House, Millennium Forum Derry, Ballykeeffe Amphitheatre Kilkenny, Wexford National Opera House, UCH Limerick and more on their national tour.

Aslan came together as a band in 1982, which means they are forty years together in 2022 - an amazing achievement for any band. Over the forty years they have had numerous chart successes, toured the world, broken up, made up and given us some classic songs such as 'This Is' and 'Crazy World'. Today, Aslan continue to entertain the masses in many of Ireland’s premier venues.

The five-piece's June 2020 single 'Hold On' marked the band's first track in five years, examining "life and what it means at its core", with frontman Christy Dignam expressing satisfaction with the end result.

"I think it's a great song and we put a lot of work into it, I'm very proud of it," Christy Dignam said. The frontman released his debut solo album The Man Who Stayed Alive late last year.
