Blindboy Boatclub is leaving Limerick to focus on the British housing crisis in new series Blindboy Undestroys the World
According to the BBC, the series will be a combination of investigative reporting and absurdism as Blindboy exposes the stark reality of being a millennial simply looking for a place to call home.
The series will explore how it is possible for some landlords to prey on the vulnerable, how developers manipulate the system, how money launderers invest their money in swanky Mayfair property and the Government policy that gave birth to Generation Rent.
Blindboy took to Twitter to clarify why the series will not be focusing on the Irish housing crisis.

Also, I will flag in advance. The pilot episode will be broadcast, it’s about the housing crisis IN BRITAIN. Because bbc paid for it. I would have loved to focus on the Irish housing crisis, but RTE would have to ask me to make that, and they didn’t. I’ll do that on podcast

Meanwhile, the comedian's other venture The Blindboy Podcast recently made headlines for securing its most famed guest yet - legendary filmmaker Spike Lee. That episode can now be heard here.
