Art In The Garden will also include pieces by Andy Warhol, Pablo Picasso, Banksy and a handful of contemporary Irish sculptors, held at the five-star Culloden Estate in Belfast, from June 15-30.
Art in the Garden, in conjunction with Gormleys Fine Arts, promises to be a spectacular exhibition of sculpture. With a premiere setting, more than half the exhibition’s 100 works will be situated in Culloden’s twelve acres of landscaped grounds, stretching down towards the shores of Belfast Lough.
The outdoor sculptures at Art in the Garden include two by the legendary surrealist, Salvador Dali.
Dance of Time III (124 cm high) is one of Dali’s iconic melting clocks. It was conceived in 1979, first cast in 1984, and now reproduced in limited edition by the Dali Universe in Switzerland.
Another large-scale Dali to be seen outdoors is Lady Godiva with Butterflies (167 cm high), conceived in 1976 and first cast in 1984. Twelve further works by Dali will be displayed within the hotel.
Ireland’s own surrealist sculptor, F.E. McWilliam (1909-1992), a native of Banbridge, Country Down is also included in the exhibition. McWilliam’s sculpture varies widely both in form and mood, but never takes itself too seriously.
You can see the legacy of McWilliam’s stylised human forms in the work of Bob Quinn, one of the contemporary Irish sculptors in the exhibition. Other current Irish artists including Sandra Bell, and Orla De Brí will be exhibiting their forward thinking sculptures.

There will be guided tours around the Art in The Garden installations daily at 2pm, 4pm and 6pm. There will also be an Art in the Garden Afternoon Tea with a curated art tour of the exhibits for £50 per person.
