How To Gael was launched in 2023 by Cantillon, Ní Ghlacáin and Ní Ruairc, who are all TG4 presenters. The podcast quickly amassed a large audience both in Ireland and abroad.

The three hosts chat about current affairs, pop culture, and include "How-To"s in both English and Irish with the aim of promoting more daily use of the Irish language in a fun, relaxed way.
"Dia dhuit (hello), we're Louise, Síomha agus (and) Doireann, three friends, work colleagues, and bilingual girls living our lives as Bearla agus as Gaeilge (in English and in Irish)," says Cantillon in the podcast's trailer.
"The three of us work as TV presenters with TG4," Ní Ruairc adds. "And one thing we always hear is "I wish I spoke more Irish", so we decided to do something about it."
