Bradley Cooper's remake of A Star Is Born, starring himself and Lady Gaga, is to make its world debut at the 75th Venice Film Festival.
The classic first hit the screen 81 years ago and the most recent remake will makes its debut on 31 August at the festival.
Rumours had been swirling about the film's premiere at Venice but the festival has finally confirmed it.
The Warner Bros' version will see Cooper take on acting, singing and for the first time, directing roles.
Four-time Oscar nominated Cooper plays musician Jackson Maine next to Gaga as struggling artist Ally.

With Jackson's support, Ally's career flourishes. Meanwhile, Jackson's own career is damaged further and further by his alcoholism.
The film will also feature tracks cowritten by Cooper and Gaga.
The festival will run 29 August - 8 September, after which the movie will hit theatres in October.
