The Lost Daughter costars reunite for a tale about profanity and rumours in a 1920s town on the English seaside.
The official poster for the upcoming film Wicked Little Letters has been revealed.
The trailer for the film was released in October, and the film is set to be released early next year.
Directed by Thea Sharrock and starring Oscar winner Olivia Coleman alongside Jessie Buckley, the film is based off a true story which follows two neighbours in 1920s seaside England: deeply conservative local Edith Swan (Olivia Colman) and rowdy Irish migrant Rose Gooding (Jessie Buckley).
When Edith and her fellow residents begin to receive wicked letters full of unintentionally hilarious profanities, foul-mouthed Rose is charged with the crime.

The anonymous letters prompt a national uproar, and a trial ensues. However, as the town’s women - led by Police Officer Gladys Moss - begin to investigate the crime themselves, they suspect that something is amiss, and Rose may not be the culprit after all.
Written by actor and screenwriter Johnny Sweet Joyously, Wicked Little Letters sees Olivia Coleman and Jessie Buckley reunited on screen in a “flurry of f***s, s***s and b******s”, spanning the full spectrum of profanity in a wildly entertaining tete-a-tete.
Accompanying the two lead actors is a supporting cast of Anjana Vasan, Timothy Spall, BAFTA winners Joanna Scanlan and Malachi Kirby, Fleabag’s Hugh Skinner, Harry Potter’s Gemma Jones and many more.
Wicked Little Letters will be released in Irish cinemas on Friday 23 February 2024.
