Brendan O’Carroll opens his home to youths struggling on the streets
Brendan O’Carroll, of Mrs. Brown's Boys, admits that he allows young people living on the street to stay with him in their time of need.
Brendan O’Carroll and his wife Jennifer have opened their hearts and home to several struggling teens over the years.
Mrs. Brown's Boys is all about loving one's family and appreciating the people in your life. O'Carroll shares this belief with his alter-ego Agnes Brown.
Even though O'Carroll and his second wife, Jennifer, never got around to having children together, he said in an interview that they made their own alternative family instead.
The couple did this by allowing struggling teens to stay with them when they were at their lowest.
O'Carroll's children from his first marriage would tell him of anyone who might need a hand, and the couple would do their best to give it to them.
O'Carroll also donates a lot of his Mrs. Brown's Boys fortune to those in need, through several different charities.
