Kicking off this Sunday, November 6, a selection of well-known Irish public figures will be sharing their impressive record collections, and the stories behind them, as part of a new radio series, For The Record. In each episode, set to be broadcast on Sundays at 6pm on RTÉ Gold, producer and presenter Pat O'Mahony will visit the homes of fellow music fans Bronagh Gallagher, Neven Maguire, Lilian Smith, Aidan Gillen & Camille O'Sullivan, Mike Hanrahan, Eleanor Shanley and Luke O'Neill.
As Pat rummages through the shelves of each guest's record collection, we'll be hearing both the music and the tales behind their first, favourite, and most recent acquisitions – as they reflect on the unique role that music has played at various points in their lives.
