Tickets to see Bronagh Gallagher at Whelan's are available now, priced at €23.
Northern Irish actress and singer Bronagh Gallagher has announced that she'll be returning to Whelan's on June 26, supported by Belfast-native Charlie Hanlon.
Though perhaps most well-known for her acting career, which boasts roles in cult-classics the likes of Pulp Fiction, Star Wars: Episode I, The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society and The Commitments, Gallagher also has also made an impressive musical footprint; releasing her debut album, Precious Soul, in 2004.
Since, she has put out two LPs, released three singles and collaborated on the official Girl From The North Country soundtrack — her cover of 'Like a Rolling Stone / To Make You Feel My Love' now eclipsing 300,000 streams on Spotify. Her most recent solo track, a single called 'Truth or Dare,' was shared in 2020, and she paired up with The Cranberries' Noel Hogan on the swelling, rock-soul 'Crybaby' last year.
"We are so excited to announce we are returning to our beloved Whelan's on June 26th 2022," the singer posted to her Instagram yesterday. "We will be playing our new tunes & bringing all the soul we have to our favourite venue! Let’s do this Dublin!! It’s gonna be a beautiful thang!"

In 2020, Gallagher graced the Hot Press YouTube, participating in Rave On, Van Morrison! with a cover of 'And the Healing Has Begun,' which has now garnered over 50,000 views.
Gallagher will be receiving support from Belfast's Charlie Hanlon, who will be bringing his irresistible indie-pop sounds to the stage. Though only 17-years-old, he is already making a name for himself as an up-and-comer in the self-produced pop scene, having released three singles since 2020.
Bronagh Gallagher will be playing Whelan's on June 26, doors at 8:00pm. Tickets are available for purchase here, priced at €23.
