Bruce Springsteen's upcoming tour alongside the E Street Band will mark their first live shows in six years.
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band have added a third Dublin date to their upcoming 2023 tour.
A crew of veteran Springsteen bandmates, including garage-rock exponent Little Steven Van Zandt, and longtime collaborator Nils Lofgren, will share the stage with the 72-year-old New Jersey native.
Due to demand, a third show has been added at Dublin's RDS Arena on Tuesday 9 May, joining the previously announced gigs on Friday 5 and Sunday 7 May.
Springsteen remarked that he was looking forward to seeing his "great and loyal fans" on the tour next year, which will span the US and Europe.

These 2023 dates will mark the first live shows for Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band since the conclusion of their 14-month, worldwide The River Tour in Australia in February 2017.
The E Street Band consists of Roy Bittan, Nils Lofgren, Patti Scialfa, Garry Tallent, Stevie Van Zandt, Max Weinberg, with Soozie Tyrell, Jake Clemons and Charlie Giordano.

Among the album era's prominent acts, Springsteen has sold more than 150 million records worldwide and more than 64 million albums in the US, making him one of the world's best-selling music artists. He has earned numerous awards for his work, including 20 Grammys, two Golden Globes, an Academy Award, and a Special Tony Award (for Springsteen on Broadway).
In 1973, Springsteen released his first two albums, Greetings from Asbury Park, N.J. and The Wild, the Innocent & the E Street Shuffle in 1973. He changed his style and reached worldwide popularity with Born to Run in 1975.
The project was followed by Darkness on the Edge of Town (1978) and The River (1980), which topped the US charts. His first album without the E Street Band was Nebraska (1982). Born in the U.S.A. (1984), which reunited Springsteen with the E Street Band.
