Caoi De Barra will appear in 14 Irish venues across July and August. Her new single 'Treehouse' is out now.
Caoi de Barra has today released her newest single ‘Treehouse’, as well as announcing a 14-date Irish tour across July and August.
The up-and-coming Irish singer-songwriter is based in Berlin, and carving out her own career in the music industry after leaving her mark as a member of the acclaimed alternative-pop trio Wyvern Lingo.
Speaking about her new single, ‘Treehouse’, De Barra said: “It’s really letting my petulant inner child do the problem solving.”
The single is a captivating disillusioned-summer-bop, where the Irish housing crisis leaves de Barra feeling trapped in a perpetual state of adolescence, and the concept of being a self-sufficient artist seems as lofty as building a dwelling up a tree.

De Barra refers to the likes of Jeff Buckley and Joni Mitchell as big inspirations to her and her music. She released her highly anticipated debut EP Thicket in August 2022.
With her unparalleled talent and unique style, de Barra is quickly becoming a notable presence in the music world.
De Barra has been touring as Alison Russell’s drummer in the last number of weeks, even making an appearance at last week’s Glastonbury festival. She will embark on her upcoming Irish tour in July and August on the back of her 125 cc scooter.
Speaking about the tour, Caoi says “Exploring the backroads, towns and villages of Ireland on my 125 cc scooter feels extremely peaceful and enriching to me. Less practical than a car, but low on fuel usage, and almost as romantic as travelling on horseback. On top of that I have the privilege of performing my songs for people in the places I go to, immediately immersed in the local arts scene. The scooter tour for me is the perfect solo quest.”
Tickets to see Caoi De Barra live this summer across one of multiple venues are available here.
