“Where Latin street-culture meets modern day legends of sound.”
Not only will the Casa Bacardi stage be jam packed with the best DJs Ireland and abroad have to offer come next weekend - in keeping with tradition, music fans will also be treated to some festival cocktails, including the Bacardí Mojito and the Bacardí Cuba Libre. Bacardí bartenders will also be sharing their top tips with festival goers on how to make the Original Bacardi Mojito at home at the dedicated Mojito Masterclass cart. If that wasn't mouth-watering enough a reason to visit the stage, then have a look at this incredible music line-up for the long weekender...
Friday, 31st August
CamelPhat headlines the opening night of Casa Bacardí on Friday, 31st August. CamelPhat formed in 2008 but broke through in 2017, when they collaborated with Elderbrook on the single ‘Cola’ and earned themselves a number one on the US Billboard Dance Club Songs chart as well as a Grammy Award nomination. Recent single ‘Panic Room’, featuring Au/Ra, was another phenomenal track.
From 20.00-22.00 you can catch Melé , who have released multiple singles and Eps since 2010, with his remix of ‘Finders Keepers’ recently hitting over one million listens and his 2015 tribal anthem ‘Ambience’ kick starting his status as one of the new names in dance.
DJ CiCi and DJ Nialler9 will also be on the bill with Melé and CamelPhat. CICI, recently tipped by Pacha Magazine as the ‘One to Watch,’ started out on the Irish club and festival scene. She has held residencies at European clubs like Space Ibiza and Sankeys Ibiza. DJ Nialler9 can frequently be found DJing around Dublin city in venues such as Lumo, a monthly club night, or hosting Nialler9-curated music events. His DJ sets feature melodic electronic music with a penchant for current anthems and a curveball classic.
Saturday, 1st September
The second day’s line-up will be headlined by Felix Da Housecat. The American DJ and producer is renowned for his house music and electro. You can expect to hear his biggest hits including his remix of Nina Simone’s ‘Sinnerman’ and ‘Hollywood’ featuring RAC and Penguin Prison.
Also, on the line-up is Boots & Kats who will bring their disco party sound. This Dublin duo made their mark on the Dublin scene with their residency for Toast Dublin, one of Dublin's most established collectives known for its consistent party vibes. They’ve since been playing a wide variety of events all around Europe.
Festival heavy hitter A-Skillz brings his iconic fusion of nu-funk and hip-hop. Originally known as Adam Mills, A-Skillz is a British DJ with over six million plays on his Soundcloud page. His reputation resulted in him being commissioned by Radio 1 to put together a special DJ mix for their Beatles tribute night. His ’50 Years of James Bond Mini Mix’ is the only mix ever to be played on every daytime show on Radio 1 in the UK, whilst his productions have appeared in films, TV adverts and many a computer game.
You can also expect electronic sounds and floor-filling grooves from DJ Deece. DJ Deece has been playing weekly in Dublin for over 7 years and has made a huge name for himself with various club support slots and residencies, most recently his Deece Series. With his own productions on the way, international dates in the works, and his Boiler Room debut at Belfast’s AVA festival, DJ Deece is fast becoming a household name.

On top of this, DJ duo Claire Beck and Ciara Brady, and RTÉ Pulse’s Existence DJ and Producer Dan Stritch and Justyna Koss will provide sets throughout the day.
Sunday, 2nd September
Joey Negro is the Sunday headliner, entertaining the Stradbally crowd with his extensive sounds of rare disco, classic house and deep, electronic sets. Joey Negro is the pseudonym of master British DJ/producer/remixer Dave Lee. As a producer, Lee has been involved in countless albums and a healthy stack of pop crossover hit singles with tracks such as ‘Must Be The Music’, ‘Make A Move On Me’ and Jakatta’s ‘American Dream’ making the UK Top 10. A turning point in his career came with the release of ‘Do It Believe It’ on US cult house label Nu Groove.
Krafty Kuts, also known as Martin Reeves, is a multi-award winning DJ and producer also performing on the Sunday. Audiences at the Casa Bacardí Stage can expect tracks such as ‘Peaches,’ featuring Droop Capone and A. Skillz, ‘Gimme the Breaks,’ featuring A. Skillz and ‘Rev It Up,’ featuring Riya, from his latest album All 4 Corners.
Meanwhile, World Scratching Champion DJ FLIP will be taking to the stage with support from top Irish DJ Kelly-Anne Byrne, with her blend of disco and soul sounds, while electro DJ duo, Modern Magic and the Jar’s DJ Jamie Byrne will help out affairs.
With the sheer range of music on offer, we've no doubt that there'll once again be dozens of dance music fans setting up shop at the Casa Bacardi area for the full weekend. If it's anything like last year, it'll be a mad scene. See you there!
