Two new lives have entered the world this month from A-list celebrity couples. It's baby number one for Rihanna and Rakim Mayers (A$AP Rocky) who welcomed in a boy on May 13th after a high profile pregnancy.
The Barbadian singer had gained much attention for making her bump into a meaningful fashion statement, similar to Beyonce's 2017 pregnancy.
“I’m hoping that we were able to redefine what’s considered ‘decent’ for pregnant women,” Rhi said in a statement to Vogue, “My body is doing incredible things right now, and I’m not going to be ashamed of that. This time should feel celebratory. Because why should you be hiding your pregnancy?”
The news of last weeks birth was just announced today with no name yet disclosed for the newborn.
In more good news - just yesterday, Ed Sheeran and wife Cherry Seaborn joyfully announced the arrival of their second child. The pregnancy had been kept private up until now, coming as a surprise to fans. Ed and Cherry were high school sweethearts, married in 2019, and have managed to keep their family life shielded from the public eye.

In an Instagram post featuring a pair of tiny socks, Sheeran wrote "Want to let you all know we've had another beautiful baby girl. We are both so in love with her, and over the moon to be a family of 4 x." She will be the younger sister of Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran (that's 10 syllables if you were concerned) who was born in August 2020.
