Belfast-based, French singer-songwriter Célia Tiab will unveil her debut EP on July 22nd.
Newcomer Célia Tiab has shared a dedication to Cork's legendary pints of stout with new single 'Creamy'.
The brand new video release and single are available now on Soft Boy Records. The French singer has also confirmed the release of her debut EP, which will follow on July 22nd.
Belfast-based Célia was raised by musical parents on a melange of soul, jazz and folk music. She began playing in bands in her early teens, exploring the guitar and writing her own songs, having now found her sound in a mesh of R&B, trip-pop & soul.
‘Creamy’ marks only her second outing as a solo artist, following last month's debut 'BIBIBI'.
Introducing ‘Creamy’ today, Célia says : “I wrote this song after visiting Cork, as an ode to the creamy pints of stout served in bars there.

"It encapsulates the loving feeling I had when being there, imagining being in a bar with someone you start having feelings for, and finding myself in an awkward position when wanting to express my new feelings for this person who may be indifferent. I tried writing lyrics that would be as descriptive as possible, while still allowing room for interpretation.”
Her stunning, easy-going vocals welcome listeners with a comforting embrace. The lyrics and relaxed guitar riff captures the friendly, warm atmosphere of pubs and lush pints with someone special.
Célia previously featured on the 2018 Brién track ‘Can I Lie With U’, after which Célia was welcomed into the Soft Boy Records family.
The talented new artist went on to work with Gaptoof on ‘Forget U’ and Kojaque on his critically acclaimed debut album Town’s Dead, alongside the likes of Biig Piig and Maverick Sabre.
Her vocals on 'Coming Up' and 'Sex & Drugs' made the Kojaque tracks stand out numbers, landing on some of Spotify's biggest playlists across Ireland, the UK and beyond. She's also appeared on some of Cork producer 1000 Beasts' song 'NYCBB'.
