Listen to Christine and the Queen's second single of the year, 'Je te vois enfin'.
French singer-songwriter Christine and the Queens has released their new single, 'Je te vois enfin'. Known for producing tender electronic-pop blended with theatricality, the new track encompasses both of those trends.
With a quiet synth beat driving the song and their dreamy refrains layered over top, it's dance-y even as they sing a lyric a lament.
Their last full-length album came out in 2020, titled La vita nuova. Since then, they've released a series of singles and one EP, including '3SEX' with Indochine, Joseph, and 'New Shapes' with Charli XCX and Caroline Polachek. 'Body' with 070 Shake just came out earlier this year.
The song was “imagined, written, produced and performed by Christine and the Queens,” the brainchild of French singer Hélöise Letissier, and mixed by Mike Dean, who has worked with Kanye West and Lana Del Rey. The song introduces a new persona for Letissier, “Redcar.”

The title of their newest track translates to "I Finally See You". A fittingly bittersweet adage for a bittersweet song. Chris sings 'Je te vois enfin' entirely in French, with upbeat rhythms, jittery synths and wonderfully layered vocals.
