Rob Vickers has returned with his third independent release.
Co. Wicklow singer-songwriter Rob Vickers has returned with a new single, 'Kiss Me Like That.'
The song marks his third independent release, following 2018's 'Christmas All Over Again' and 2020's 'Best Days of Our Lives.'
'Kiss Me Like That' is just Vickers latest stint in the studio, having performed globally for over 25 years. Now, with his newest single, he is looking to spread themes of love and connection to a world that has been deprived due to the pandemic.
“We now know more then ever how much a simple kiss can mean and so easily be taken for granted after such distance emotionally and figuratively we have all endured after the last 2 years in the world," said Vickers on the track. "Like the lyrics in the song a simple kiss has such power of connection to the human construct, it fills your heart down to your soul”
His previous releases having been met with critical acclaim — 'Christmas All Over Again' included in Hot Press's Top 10 Irish Christmas Songs of All Time — 'Kiss Me Like That' contains the same jovial, jazzy elements that defined the singers other tracks.

“I’ve designed myself and my musical cross generational the same as Elton John, Billy Joel, Paul McCartney, David Bowie, Bruce Springsteen and many of the guest artists that have stood the test of time. They had no rules just a love for good music and sharing it with the world," said Vickers.
