Including a date at The Sugar Club, the Brooklyn rockers are set to play dates in Derry and Belfast.
Brooklyn-based rock and roll trio DADDY LONG LEGS have announced that the Winter 2020 leg of their UK tour will include dates in Belfast, Derry and Dublin.
This tour comes hot on the heels of their 2019 album Lowdown Ways, a rockabilly style masterpiece that calls back to the earlier, simpler days of rock and roll. Fusing rock with gospel, blues, and country, DADDY LONG LEGS are like the oddball love child of Roy Orbison and The Sonics. When asked by Village Voice "What is DADDY LONG LEGS?," vocalist Brian Hurd answered, "Rock and roll salvation through the spirit of roots and blues." They're a hoe down's foot-stomping rhythm and your teenage garage band's grungy guitar, and they are not a band you want to miss.
