Almost 10 years after the release of their highly acclaimed and final album, Random Access Memories, the French DJ duo Daft Punk shared a studio outtake version of their hit song 'Give Life Back To Music'.

The original track was the 2013's album opener and often played live. The song will be included in Daft Punk's Random Access Memories reissue, along with many other outtakes and unheard demos.

The studio outtake version runs just under six and a half minutes and is a pre-production demo of the original. The song is characterised by orchestral elements as well as classical piano and harpsichord.

The 10th anniversary special edition of the Grammy-winning Random Access Memories was announced by Daft Punk in February 2023. Besides 'GLBTM (Studio Outtakes)', the track 'The Writing Of Fragments Of Time', featuring Todd Edwards, was released on March 22.

Due to the amount of extra content, Random Access Memoreis' reissue contains 35 minutes of additional music and audio tracks. It will be available on the usual streaming platforms, as well as vinyl and CD, on May 12.

In addition to 'GLBTM (Studio Outtakes)', the track 'The Writing Of Fragments Of Time,' featuring Todd Edwards, was released on March 22.

In 2021, the duo, consisting of Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, announced their split. Bangaler has since worked on several projects, including the ballet album Mythologies, which was released on April 7.

It is the musician's first independent orchestral album, and it was commissioned by choreographer Angelin Prljocaj for his ballet of the same name, which will premiere in 2021.
