British actress played the role of Marianne Sheridan in the television adaptation of Sally Rooney's novel of the same name.
Daisy Edgar-Jones has received a Golden Globe nomination for 'Best Actress in a Limited Series or TV Film' for her role in BBC/Hulu smash hit drama Normal People.
Jones is competing in the Best Actress in a Limited Series of TV Film against Cate Blanchett (Mrs. America), Shira Haas (Unorthodox), Nicole Kidman (The Undoing) and Anya Taylor-Joy for her role in The Queen’s Gambit.

Jones previously missed out on an Emmy Award nomination for the same role, whereas her co-star Paul Mescal nabbed a nomination for his role as Conor Waldron. Lenny Abrahamson was also nominated for his directing talents, as well as Sally Rooney and Louise Kiely for her casting skills.
The Golden Globe nominations were announced by former winners Taraji P Henson and Sarah Jessica Parker.
The awards ceremony, hosted by Tina Fey in New York and Amy Poehler in Los Angeles, takes place on Sunday, February 28th.
