The book festival will welcome writers, thinkers and journalists from over ten countries, including renowned journalist Christiane Amanpour and Booker Prize-winning Irish author Paul Lynch, from June 13 to 16.
Dalkey Book Festival returns this June with a rich programme of writers and thinkers in the historic seaside town of Dalkey, to speak about literature, history, politics, journalism, comedy and science.
With writers from Afghanistan, Holland, Germany, Russia, Turkey, France, Palestine, the UK, America, Canada and Ireland, as well as journalists from Southeast Asia to Jerusalem, the festival host 77 events over four days.

Amidst the current conflict in Gaza, Dalkey Book Festival aims to centre Palestinian voices for its 2024 edition, with Isabella Hammad and Karim Kattan, as well as author of A Day in the Life of Abed Salama, Nathan Thrall, while Jeremy Bowen, BBC correspondent in the Middle East, will join direct from Jerusalem;
Other authors who will be take part in this year’s edition include renowned journalist Christiane Amanpour, David Baddiel, Henry Winkler (the Fonz), David Brooks, Katja Hoyer, James O’Brien, Neil Jordan, Stephen Rea, Booker prize winner Paul Lynch, Colm Tóibín and Claire Keegan.
