Check out the collaboration between the indie rockers Fontaines D.C. and English rapper Slowthai below.
Producer Dan Carey's record label, Speedy Wunderground, shared footage of Dublin post-punk rockers Fontaines D.C. and Northampton rapper Slowthai collaborating in the studio.
The brief Twitter video showed the two acts, along with producer Kwensington, playing an unreleased track that featured the best of Slowthai's off-kilter rhythm and Fontaines' pulsing guitars.
It's not yet known if the footage was a sneak peak at an upcoming release or just an informal jam session between the Grammy-nominated outfit and the Tyron singer.

In a September 2021 interview with Matt Wilkinson on Apple Music 1, the group spoke about their forthcoming album, Skinty Fia, and a potential collaboration with Slowthai.
“I would in a heartbeat, yeah. Absolutely. I’m up for whatever, to be honest. I’m there at the drop of a hat,” Fontaines frontman Grian Chatten said.
“It’s something we’ve flirted with for a while. But I don’t know, if it happens, it happens. We’d do it if there was an organic impetus for it. If there felt like there was an idea, if it was led by an idea, then we’d do it.”
The Mercury prize-nominated band are gearing up for their third studio album release, Skinty Fia. The much talked about LP is set to drop on April 22.
Fontaines have joined forces with Carey for the third time on the forthcoming album, following 2019's Dogrel and 2020's A Hero's Death.
The lead single taken from Skinty Fia, 'Jackie Down the Line' has already garnered global recognition. The single received its live performance debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last month.

Slowthai is hot off his 2021 album release Tyron – self entitled under his real name, Tyron Kaymone Frampton. The follow up to his debut Nothing Great About Britain features Slowthai's trademark edgy beats and unflinching lyrics while also showcasing a softer side of the English rapper.
In a 2021 interview with Hot Press, Slowthai spoke about his latest offering, outgrowing his demons and his personal brush with "cancel culture". He found time to strike up a friendship with Dublin’s own Soft Boy Records – bringing Kojaque and Luka Palm on tour in 2019.
“I love Luka!” he gushed to Lucy O'Toole. “Them boys are funny! When we were on tour, we took mushrooms, and we were tripping – in Hamburg, I think. Kean, Luka and Kojaque were there with us. We were all on a mad one – riding around on scooters, doing dumb shit. We thought everyone in the whole word was tripping – but they must’ve been looking at us like, ‘These are fucking idiots...’ They’re really good lads. Every time we come over, they’re there with us.”
