TidalWave Comics is releasing a new comic following the life of Nirvana and Foo Fighters legend Dave Grohl.
Legendary rock artist, frontman and Foo Fighters founder Dave Grohl has officially received the comic book treatment in a new release titled Orbit: Dave Grohl.
A member of TidalWave Comic's popular Orbit series, the comic is written by Adam Rose and illustrated by Martin Gimenez. The series aims to "explore the artists, celebrities, and people both famous and infamous who shape our culture."
The 22-page comic follows Grohl's life and journey as he adventures into the professional music scene, from drumming for Scream and Nirvana, to founding the Foo Fighters in 1994. It also delves into his personal life, like his origins in Virginia and producing new music with his kids.
TidalWave writes that "It will transport you to him playing with Iggy Pop, his record appearances on Saturday Night Live, his face-off on drums withe Muppet's Animal and so much more. Grohl continues to jam, Grohl continues to inspire, Grohl is Rock."
“Diving into the genius of David Grohl can only be described with one word: awe. His life and body of work are an incredible story to explore!” writer Adam Rose added.

“As a reluctant reader, I found the comic book form easy to access, so I always believed comics could both entertain and teach,” said publisher and creative force Darren G. Davis. “I have always found Grohl an amazing performer and an icon. The comic books people a new demographic to learn about their favorite musicians.”
Orbit: Dave Grohl is available now digitally and in print for purchase on multiple platforms.
