Limited availability to catch 'Good Friday' musician David Keenan in De Barra's folk venue, Clonakilty!
David Keenan is set to play De Barra’s Clonakilty alongside his full band this Friday, June 17. The intimate, warm up gig takes place the night before the Louth folk musician opens for David Gray in Cork's Musgrave Park.
The Dundalk-born poet, songwriter, and musician has recently played a slew of shows across London and Ireland, notably a headline date in Dublin’s 3Olympia Theatre with his band in May. He continues performances across Ireland Europe this summer - taking the stage at Sea Sessions in Bundoran on Sunday, June 19.
Keenan released the single 'Good Friday' earlier this year, following on from the success of WHAT THEN? and his critically acclaimed debut album A Beginner’s Guide To Bravery.
Previously describing his sound as "heroic folk-punk surrealist vulnerability with a dash of theosophical exploration"; Keenan is steadily climbing up the rung of the Irish music scene; making Friday's gig the perfect chance to catch a limited capacity show before he climbs to the top.
