Dea Matrona have shared their full tour dates, which will take them across Europe with Eagles of Death Metal this summer.
Belfast rockers Dea Matrona have revealed the dates for their upcoming European tour, which will take them across the continent starting this weekend, and finishing off with a home show in Belfast in August.
The run will see 19 shows from the outfit across 13 countries, serving as both headliners and as a supporting act for the seminal hard-rock band, Eagles of Death Metal. Their tour kicks off this weekend, with a Friday date in Manchester and a Saturday gig in Glasgow, as guests on Feeder's Torpedo tour.
Blending grungy instrumentals with riot grrrl-esque vocals, Dea Matrona bring the nostalgic sounds of the 90s garage-rock scene into the modern era. Punchy, unapologetic and passionate, the group is leading the charge of rock-revival with a catalogue of undeniably addicting tracks.
Made up of school friends Mollie McGinn and Orlaith Forsythe, plus Mollie's younger sister Mamie McGinn on drums, the group rose to prominence after recording a cover of 'Oh Well' by Fleetwood Mac, which has garnered over a million views on YouTube.
Since, they have released their debut EP Away From the Tide in 2019, and have shared four singles — with 'Make You My Star' claiming the No. 1 spot on both UK and Irish iTunes Rock Charts. They were voted 'Most Promising Act' in the Hot Press 2021 Readers Poll, and graced the stage of the RTÉ Late Late Show in March of last year.

The group will be playing several Irish dates, beginning with a Black Eyed Pea's support slot in Galway on the 4th of June. In July, they will be playing the Cork Indiependence Music & Arts Festival, and finishing off their run with a headlining show at Falls Park in Belfast on August 8.
