The eclectic Sounds from a Safe Harbour Festival has announced a final round of events for their 2023 lineup from 7-10 September.
The four-day event, which takes places in multiple venues across Cork City, is curated by festival director Mary Hickson, Bryce and Aaron Dessner of The National, Cillian Murphy and playwright Enda Walsh.
The festival offers a combination of ticketed and free events across a diverse itinerary of music, dance, literature, theatre and conversation.
Cillian Murphy, Dermot Kennedy, Alexi Murdoch, Niamh Regan and more are amongst the new names added to the residency.

Sounds from a Safe Harbour have also announced an Ireland x Iceland food collaboration titled The Last Supper, with Takashi Miyazaki of Ichigo Ichie in Cork, Rob Krawczyk of Chestnut in Ballydehob, and Georg Arnar Halldórsson previously of Reykjavik resatraunt Óx (Reykjavik).
The chefs will present a unique 7 course menu to close SFSH23 in The Mirror Room at The River Lee Hotel.
Taking inspiration from the collective experiences of Irish, Icelandic, and Japanese cultures, the three chefs have created a meal which exploring the similarities and differences of ingredients and flavours we all recognise as islanders.
This particular event is limited to 100 people. Tickets will be released on Wednesday 23 August at midday. An Alternative menu is available for both vegetarians and coeliacs.
