The hit comedy series is about to go stateside...
Joining fellow Channel 4 comedies 8 Out of 10 Cats, and the IT Crowd, hit comedy Derry Girls has been acquired by streaming giant Netflix for a December 21st release - just in time for Christmas.
At present, it will only be available on Netflix US but it is hoped Netflix UK/IE will follow suit and add the show to their lineup in the New Year.
This marks a landmark moment for the show which has become one of Channel 4's leading comedies, earning rave reviews and drawing in audiences at home and abroad.
With a viewership of over half a million, the show reached an incredible 54% of the total Northern Irish TV audience, including 65% of 16-34 year olds.

All geared up for season two, series creator Lisa McGee said the show's new season will be "moving through the early stages of the Peace Process. In terms of the gang and what they get up to - it's just a bit bigger and crazier."
"Some of the episodes are quite out there, some of the ideas, but they are much the same as well, they are still the losers who never get anything right and they always have a scheme on the go that never works out for them."
We can't wait.
