Tickets for the Ukraine humanitarian crisis fundraiser range from €10 to €30, and will include a donation option for those who cannot attend but want to lend support.
A fundraising event for the Ukrainian humanitarian crisis will be held at Centre Point this Friday, March 4th, with guests Sunil Sharpe, Claire Beck, DJ Deece, Nialler9, Marcus O'Laoire and many more.
With tickets starting at €10 and going up to €30, all profits will go directly to the Red Cross Ukraine and The SCOOP Foundation, an organisation uses the arts as a vehicle for change in support of vulnerable communities.
There will also be a donation option for those who cannot attend, but want to lend support to the cause.
“This new phase of the fighting in Ukraine has sent an ominous chill down my spine," said Peter Maurer, President of the International Committee of the Red Cross in a statement. "The intensification and spread of the conflict risk a scale of death and destruction that are frightening to contemplate, given the immense military capacities involved."
Violence erupted late last week after years of tension. According to Russian president Vladimir Putin, they aim of the invasion was the "demilitarisation and de-Natizification" of Ukraine — a claim at odds with the country's popular Jewish President, Volodymr Zelensky. The invasion has killed dozens of Ukrainian civilians and soldiers so far, and has left countless others displaced, injured and fearful for their futures.
