Hare Squead have shared their SUPERQUICK EP on streaming platforms, with three new tracks for fans.
Last week Hare Squead, the Irish hip-hop/rap duo made up of Tony Konstone and Lilo Blues, unveiled their brand new EP SUPERQUICK. The project contains three tracks: 'FREAK', 'Y DID I HAVE TO SEX U', and 'AMAZING GRAY'.

The first track, 'FREAK' is like a stream of consciousness - rumbled into the ear of the listener until the beat drops around minute two and the thoughts solidify into a fast paced rap. With an electronic thread through the lyrics and reverb added to the words, it's a ramble towards an epiphany.
The second cut, in the simplest of terms, is a break up song. 'Y DID I HAVE TO SEX U', as implied by the title, is a lament for loss wrapped in pop progression. The elements of rap that bleed in (usually in the form of off-tune regrets) add to the feeling of having your heart scraped raw.

The third track, 'AMAZING GRAY', starts off with a floating, airy sound reminiscent of indie or dream-rock music. It's a poetic and sadly short end to the quick punch of SUPERQUICK.
The group began releasing music in 2016 with the single 'If I Ask'. Since then, they've released numerous singles and one full-length album. The two artists have also performed as a supporting act for Dua Lipa.
