Seven-piece Dublin-based band Cooks But We're Chefs have taken to Instagram to announce their first headline London show.
It will take place on July 20th at The Jago, Dalston. Tickets are only £5 so head to the link in their instagram bio (@cooks.but.were.chefs) to snag one soon, with support to be announced
Add a brass section plus a healthy dose of synth, and you'll find Cooks But We're Chefs. Their first release on major streaming platforms was in 2018 with their single 'Sunshine'. Since then they've released an EP, Sports Day, and there are rumours that they might have something new in the works. Their most recent single came out in April of this year by the name of 'Studio 54'.
A jazzy, soulful fusion with hip-hop and funk inspired vocals, the genre-blending band is a familiar name to those that keep track of the festival circuit.
Just recently, they played Forbidden Fruit festival with big names like Lorde and Biig Piig. And later this summer, after their London debut, they will remain in the UK for Latitude festival - spanning July 21-24.
