“The Dublin Port Short Film Prize 2019” is a new project in association with Screen Ireland and will filmmakers a unique platform to showcase their work at the museum in telling the story of Dublin.
The film can be up to eight minutes long and should celebrate the city of Dublin as well as highlight aspects of the county’s culture and heritage that separate the city from other capitals in Europe.
To apply for Port Short 2019, new, experienced and up-and-coming filmmakers are all invited to submit expressions of interest no later than 5pm on 13th September 2018.
Applicants are required to submit the following:
1. Entire script (and, if desired, an optional story board)
2. Sample of previous film work (via Dropbox / YouTube)
3. An approximate budget and timeline for the project
4. Information about the team involved, e.g. a CV (max. 2 additional pages per individual)

The winning filmmaker will be announced in September 2018.
