The up-and-coming Irish band have announced three London shows as they continue to expand their set.
Dublin-based rock band Basht. have announced their first shows in the UK, which include performances in London and Glasgow.
After delivering a series of sold-out shows in Dublin, the band is taking their niche sound to three gigs in London this month, including at Soho’s The Social on February 14 and Hackney’s Sebright Arms on February 28 – both of which are free to the public. A third date, at Brixton’s The Windmill on February 13, is still waiting to be confirmed.

Basht. is made up of lead vocalist Jack Leavey, guitarists Sam Duffy and Rossa Healy, bassist Louis Christle and drummer Luke O’Neill. The rockers have only released four singles – ‘Never Love’, ‘Tomorrow’, ‘456’ and ‘RCKNRLLA’ – but have already made their mark on the Irish music scene since forming amid Ireland’s Covid-19 lockdowns in 2020.
Last year the group performed gigs at Forbidden Fruit, Culture Night and Whelan’s ‘Ones to Watch Festival’, and is performing with fellow band Slik at a sold-out show later this month at Glasgow’s King Tut’s.
Basht. made Hot Press’s list of Hot For 2023 Irish Acts and earned high compliments from long-time editor Niall Stokes. “You can immediately hear that these guys know what they’re at,” he says. “It is early days of course, but there are times when the first record is enough to set the pulse racing – and this is one of them. This really could be the start of something big.”

Hot Press’s Emily Greenberg wrote a rave review of the band's show at Blackbird in Rathmines in August 2022.
“BASHT., it turned out, were men of few words, allowing their music to speak for itself. And it did just that,” Greenberg wrote. “Known for combining vulnerable and emotional lyrics with hip-hop beats and raunchy guitar riffs, their emotionally committed approach made for a show that was both lively and intimate."
Later this year, Basht. are slated to perform at St Patrick’s Day Festival in Dublin, Otherside Festival in Slane and All Together Now Festival in Waterford.
