The guitar was stolen from his car last night, in a Fender soft case.
Dublin-based singer-songwriter Pauric O'Meara has posted an appeal on social media to help locate his guitar, which was stolen last night.
The guitar, which was robbed from his car, is a Taylor 314ce Grand Auditorium Semi-acoustic guitar, with "facial damage in strumming area and top left face". It was in a Fender soft case when it was stolen.
"Please keep an eye out and help get my baby home safe," wrote O'Meara on an Instagram story when sharing the news of the theft.
O'Meara is one of the most exciting younger artists to emerge from the Irish music scene in recent years, his songs gathering traction due to his disarming vocals and lively atmosphere. He's due to play a headline show at Dublin's Academy next year, along with other headliners across Ireland.

A prolific songwriter, O'Meara has put out a series of singles over the last year, including the rousing 'Adore' just a few weeks ago: the first of three set for release over the coming months. As reviewed by Hot Press, the track "showcases the singer-songwriter's tender side" as it begins with "a veil of lush guitar strums and delicate strings, before bursting into a cinematic, melancholic chorus."
Of the track, O'Meara shared, “It is about how it feels to be loved conditionally, and the fight that we put up to achieve what we deserve. The layers of strings bring this tension to life, and has made this personal song of mine from a story, to a visual and emotional exploration of how it feels to be in such a position.”
If you have any information about the whereabouts of O'Meara's guitar, please contact him on his Instagram.
