Dublin restaurants including Chapter One, Uno Mas, Pickle, Crudo, as well as Walshes pub in Stoneybatter and The Vanilla pod café in Blackrock were all award winners at the Irish 'Food Oscars'.
Chapter One by Mickael Viljanen, has been named Ireland’s best restaurant for the second consecutive year. The restaurant, located on Parnell Square in Dublin 1, has earned two Michelin stars, and retained its title at the Irish restaurant awards last night.
Mickael Viljanen, who is Chef Patron at Chapter One, has previously won two Michelin stars while working as executive chef of The Greenhouse in Dublin. The restaurant is co-owned by Viljanen and Chef Ross Lewis.

Dublin restaurants took the lion’s share of award wins last night, with Uno Mas’ head Chef Paul McNamara winning the award for best Irish chef. Uno Mas, located on Aungier Street in Dublin 2, offers a top-notch Spanish fine dining experience, with a menu that changes daily.
Camden Street’s Pickle won the award for best world cuisine, with head chef Sunil Ghai reinventing classic North Indian cuisine, and offering funky décor and a unique take on Punjabi, Kashmiri and Gwalior dishes.
Other Dublin winners included Crudo in Dublin 4 for best casual dining in Ireland, and The Guinea Pig in Dalkey which won the award for best customer service in Ireland. Denise McBrien, of The Old Spot gastropub in Sandymount, won best restaurant manager in Ireland.
