Celebrating 21 years of gathering the world's finest writers together, the program for 2018 is laden down with over 100 events across the city.
The event will run for nine days throughout Dublin in May, with a pre-festival event on the 16th. With such a selection of events and speakers to choose from - alongside walking tours and events - here's a quick look into some of the speakers.
- Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie , globally acclaimed writer and TED Talk speaker, will deliver a talk at the pre-festival celebration on 16th of May at he Convention Centre in Dublin, 7pm.
- Melatu Uche Okorie and Nikesh Shukla discuss the migrant experience as the driving force behind their fiction, as Melatu launches her debut novel which she began to write while living in the Irish direct provision system. Takes place 19th May at the Smock Alley Theatre, 12pm.
- Yiyun Li discusses her memoir of a life lived surrounded by books and the healing power of reading, written over two years while she battled suicidal depression. 23rd May, Smock Alley Theatre, 6pm.
- Derek Landy at the exclusive launch event of the latest gripping installment in the Skulduggery series Midnight. 26th May, The Complex, 6pm.

- Neil Gaiman on 27th May at the Convention Centre at 8pm. Neil will also introduce and discuss Alice a dark fantasy film by Czech filmmaker Jan Švankmajer at the Irish Film Institute on 25th May, 8pm.
- Poet, Instagram star and model <b<Yrsa Daley-Ward discusses her raw and unrelenting new poetry collection. 26th May, Poetry Ireland, 4pm.
