Ailbhe Reddy has just finished her US and Europe tour and is currently touring in the UK and Ireland. On Friday, May 5th, and Saturday, May 6th, she will play two homecoming gigs at Whelan's in Dublin.
On March 31, the critically acclaimed singer-songwriter Elderbrook released his new album, Little Love, which includes a total of 12 songs. The last one, called 'Walk Away', features the Irish indie artist Ailbhe Reddy, who recently shared her second album, Endless Affair.
The song is Elderbrook's rework of Reddy's original song that was featured on her 2020 debut album Personal History. Since Elderbrook retained the Irish singer's vocals, the track works as a duet between the two, creating a unique and harmonic sound.

"When I first hear it I thought it was a cover, I think because it seemed so familiar. After I searched and asked around I realised it was an original. For a song to connect so instantly in my head was such a weird an special feeling," he said.
Reddy said she was super excited when Elderbrook got in touch with her, saying that he loved 'Walk Away' and wants to create a cover of the song.
"The piano was originally recorded the day it was written in a studio in London with Erland Cooper, who co-produced my first record. It was amazing to see such a huge artist find my song and want to re-imagine it. I was especially stoked when Elderbrook chose to keep my vocal in so it works as a lovely duet!," she said
