Electric Picnic 2022 will take place on 2 - 4 September in Stradbally, Co. Laois with over 70,000 attendees.
Well, demand for Irish festivals is higher than ever, judging by how fast Electric Picnic 2022 tickets sold out this morning.
With Dermot Kennedy, Tame Impala, Picture This, Megan Thee Stallion, Snow Patrol and fan favourites Arctic Monkeys billed as the headline acts, tickets were gone after just 30 minutes at 9am.

The return of the much-loved music and arts festival, which takes place in Stradbally, Co Laois, was only confirmed yesterday. Irish talent is more than represented, with performances expected from post-punk mainstays Fontaines D.C.; Cork singer Lyra; Limerick act Denise Chaila; country queen CMAT; Dundalk shoegazers Just Mustard; 'atmosfolk duo' Saint Sister; Dublin rapper/producer duo Kean Kavanagh and Kojaque; rising indie-pop stars Amy Michelle and Lucy Blue, plus poet/producer For Those I Love.

Indie legends Bright Eyes, iconic rock outfit Pixies, 'Heat Waves' chart-toppers Glass Animals, pop queen Anne-Marie, Brit rockers Wolf Alice, cult noise-rap favourite JPEGMAFIA; Japanese/American rocker Rina Sawayama; rapper Little Simz and post-punk grouches Sleaford Mods are among a full line-up - yet to be announced.
Making its Stradbally return is the Hot Press Chatroom, which will feature live interviews, acoustic performances and other surprises involving your favourite EP acts and Capel Street journalists. Down through the years our Chatroom sofas have been sat on by everyone from New Order, Gavin James, Garbage and The Roots to Mani, Bob Geldof, Public Enemy and Chvrches.
