The hip-hop artist will release Curtain Call 2 on August 5, 17 years after his original compilation album Curtain Call: The Hits.
Rap superstar Eminem has announced he will release a second compilation album titled Curtain Call 2. The album is set to release on August 5, and will feature tracks from several of the artist's albums along with some previously unreleased tracks.
The album will drop approximately 17 years after the rappers original compilation album Curtain Call: The Hits. This new amalgamation will include the artist's work from after his previous compilation album including tracks from 2009's Relapse, 2010's Recovery, 2013's The Marshall Mathers LP 2, 2017's Revival, 2018's Kamikaze, and 2020's Music to Be Murdered By and Music to Be Murdered By - Side B (Deluxe Edition). It will also include the recently released Snoop Dogg collaboration 'From the D 2 the LBC'.
2022 has brought a lot of success for Eminem. Earlier this year, the musician was named to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame class of 2022, alongside Dolly Parton, Eurythmics, Duran Duran, and more. The hip-hop star marked the 20th anniversary of The Eminem Show, also making a surprise appearance in a sketch on Pete Davidson’s final episode of Saturday Night Live.
Most recently, the Missouri born rapper joined CeeLo Green in 'The King and I', Dr. Dre-produced for the soundtrack to Baz Lurhmann's Elvis.

Fan reaction to the announcement has been ginormous, with comments underneath his Instagram announcement nearing 13,000. The comments include: "Gonna be ALBUM OF THE YEAR", "The way I’m crying right now. FINALLY Marshall!", and "THE GOAT IS BACKKKKK."
