Live concept album Everything I do will be launched at the Project Arts Centre as part of the Dublin Fringe Festival 2018.
The album will be the debut production by new arts production company led by Zoe Ní Riordáin and Maud Lee under the name One Two One Two. The two sisters have been playing music and writing theater together since they were young and collaborated on past productions The Well Rested Terrorist and Recovery. From 2009 they performed as Maud In Cahoots and toured the national and international stage. Their work is a mix of bold, heartfelt work, driven by a need to communicate with strangers through art and live experiences. The sisters plan to use new company One Two One Two to make future collaborations with other Irish and International artists as well as continuing to innovate with music and performance.
Acclaimed contemporary dancer Aoife McAtammey will feature in the performance of Everything I Do with Gavin Quinn of Pan Pan Theatre as dramaturge of the project.
Speaking on the launch of One Two One Two Maud Lee said, “We started One Two One Two as a way to create a more inclusive home for the art we want to make. This progression from Maud in Cahoots allows us to explore the full potential of the songs we write. It’s broader than what we’ve done before and we hope fans of the band will continue to follow us and enjoy the new work we’re creating.”
