Famous and Not-So-Famous Actors and Actresses Encourage Americans to Vote
Specifically, it's to vote against Trump.
While Irish people don't have much influence on the US Presidential Elections, the outcome is definitely in their interests. On 8 November, the people of the country will vote on who will be the next president, and odds are it will either be Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump. Both candidates are divisive for a number of reasons, but many people would naturally think that Donald is far less qualified.
Unfortunately, Trump has his fans. There are those who actually believe he has what it takes to lead the country. In an effort to stop this from happen, Joss Whedon has gathered up many of his actor friends to release a PSA encouraging Americans to register themselves and to vote against Donald Trump in the upcoming elections.
This is unlikely to change too many minds. Hopefully, though, this may encourage some that making sure Donald doesn't end up in the Oval Office is in their best interests.
