Father John Misty's fifth studio album is set to drop on April 8.
Father John Misty (real name Josh Tillman) has shared a new video for his latest single 'Q4.'
The video, directed by long-time collaborator Grant James, is a play on old Hollywood title sequences. The slow building track sets the scene for a fictitious film as the credits roll by.

'Q4' is the second offering from Tillman's fifth studio album Chloë and the Next 20th Century, dropping April 8.

The first single from the LP, 'Funny Girl' was accompanied by a similarly retro video, wherein a floating jellyfish explores a sepia toned frontier, a la The Wizard of Oz.
Like his previous albums under the Father John Misty moniker, Chloë and the Next 20th Century, was produced by Jonathan Wilson and mixed by Dave Cerminara. A limited-edition deluxe version of the LP will include 7″ bonus single, including a Lana Del Rey cover of the track 'Buddy's Rendezvous'. The album arrives via Sub Pop and Bella Union.
After releasing a few albums under Josh Tillman name, the Maryland native joined indie-outfit Fleet Foxes in 2006. During his tenure, the group released three full-length albums garnering massive fan acclaim.
After splitting from the band in 2012, Tillman released the humorously self-loathing Fear Fun. He furthered his prestige with his 2015 breakthrough record I Love You, Honeybear. The sophomore LP was chock full of love songs from the viewpoint of a reformed cynic.
His last major release was 2018's God's Favorite Customer.
